Gabinet Looster came to life in November 2011 in London Kennington Studios.The diverse musical background of the members (punk, reggae, blues, metal, prog-rock) has at first given an experimental feel to the way songs were composed and it is fair to say GL owes it's unique sound to combining such random musical styles. Lead by their front-man Adam who spent a good chunk of his life busking the band has made a decision to only perform acoustic.This gave them the ultimate independence for their street performances and a very pure music background emphasizing Adam's lyrics.In late 2012 GL started to perform with the Polish underground (mainly punk, metal and reggae bands) in random venues around London slowly gaining it's popularity. At this time the band has also become the usual sight in Southbank London busking under Blackfriars Bridge. Between 2013 - 2014 the band has taken part in many music events with international bands of mixed ethnic backgrounds and music styles. Following their success in London GL made their first trip to Poland to perform in Krakow and shortly after decided to pack their gear for a Euro busking trip, playing the streets of Paris, Ljubljana, Budapest, Wroclaw, Berlin, Amsterdam and many more.In 2014 - 2015 GL has been chosen as a support band for Strachy Na Lachy, Pidzama Porno, Kult, Hey and Enej playing concerts in UK and Ireland. The band is planning to record it's first full album in March 2016. Album relese is planned for autumn 2016.
